Nancy is passionate about public education and the need for quality public education for every child in Orange County. “Public education needs to be the best it can be, not just for my children, but for all families who depend on their children getting the best possible education in our public schools.”

Nancy is positive that community engagement strengthens public education. “As a community, we want high student achievement, children eager to learn and open communication between administration, faculty, students and parents.” With the encouragement and support of community leaders and residents throughout the district Nancy made the decision to become a voice for her community and the students of Orange County.

Nancy is prepared for the challenges that face her as a Board Member of one of the largest school systems in the nation. She has more than 13 years of experience at both the policy and classroom level. Nancy will continue to give her time, resources, efforts and leadership to make OCPS one of the premiere school systems in the country.
